Bankruptcy and Ancient Sins

Dear Friend,

NPR ran a story this week on the bill that Linda Sanchez and I introduced to let homeowners facing foreclosure get relief from predatory loans in bankruptcy.

You can hear NPR's story here:

Bill Alters Bankruptcy Code to Help Homeowners

Also, the Greensboro News and Record ran this editorial on the vote on the resolution to declare that the atrocities beginning in 1915 in which as many as 1.5 million ethnic Armenians may have died was genocide:

Miller Stands Firm and Alone

I'm just a politician. I don't claim to be a historian, or a theologian.

Next week should be an interesting week. Mel Watt, Barney Frank and I will introduce legislation to reform mortgage lending practices so we can avoid in the future the foreclosure epidemic we now face.

Sincerely,
Brad

P.S. If you want to write me about an issue before Congress, it's best to write my Congressional office, not my campaign. Because of arcane ethics rules, I can't give you a link to my Congressional office from the campaign, but you know how to use Google, don't you?
